Nick and Sandra
Nick and his father John combined their love for horses and out
of it grew Rocky Bar Ranch. In 1975 Nick married Sandra Shackleton
and started their life together. In 1979 John denBrok retired and
Nick carried on the family farm as Rocky Bar Ranch LTD. Nick and
Sandra have shown light horses and draft horses for many years.
Their
knowledge and experience has proven over the years with their display
of hundreds of ribbons and trophies. They now share their love for
horses with their three daughters, Jodi , Traci and Laci.

Jodi
Jodi grew up
on the farm with love for horses. She has won many ladies team driving
competions and also many ladies Cart Classes. Jodi take pride in
getting the horses ready for any sale or competition. She graduated
from Saskatoon Business College with her business diploma and now
lives in Virden, Manitoba where she works as a Royal Bank Investor. She is married to Troy Stewart and together they run Grandsun Acres.
She is still heavily involved with the horses on weekends and never
misses a show.

Traci
Horses
are in Traci's blood. She started barrel racing and driving horses
at a young age and has never looked back. She graduated from Lakeland
College in Vermilion, Alberta with two diplomas. One in Herd health
and another in Animal Health Technology. She is a Certified
Equine Massage Therapist as well as a Certified Equine Chiropractor. She has made the Canadian College Finals
in Barrel racing in the years 1999 and 2000. She now competes very
competively in SBRA, MBRA, MRCA, and CCA rodeos all year round.
Traci met David Sandilands while going to school at Lakeland. They
are now married and live a rock throw away from Rocky Bar Ranch
where they operate a two hundred head mixed cattle operation. David
is also very heavily involved in rodeo. He fights bulls all summer
for CPRA rodeos and PCB bull ridings, and in 2007 will be making his 1st appearance
at the Calgary Stampese fighting bulls. Traci owns and operates Equi-Care Service. She specializes in Equine Chiropratic and Massage Therapy

Laci
Have been grown
up on the back of a horse, her love for these creatures has never
faded. At a very young age she became very active in 4-H and showing
heavy horses. In her teen years she focased mainly on high school
rodeo. Laci won the year-end provincial pole-bending in 2003 and
was at the top of the standings for barrel racing .This allowed
her to compete at the National High School Rodeo Finals in Farmingtion,
New Mexico and the Canadian High School Rodeo Finals. She now continues
to rodeo and jackpot all summer. After graduating in 2005 from the Assiniboine College
in Brandon, Mb, Laci moved home to help out on the farm and is now employed with Mosaic, where
she works in the Water Department as a Admin. Assistant.
